We are one of the largest lumber export warehouses in Savannah. We are looking for a highly organized and efficient office assistant. The description of the position is as following:
Help the warehouse manager to keep the warehouse running smoothly, especially on the paperwork and communications side. Daily responsibilities include but not limited to: answer calls, enter data into the inventory system, receive load/shipping plans from customers, order trucking and ocean containers, provide bill of lading to customers after containers are stuffed, take the products out of the inventory system after they are shipped out, send invoice info to accounting Dept. The candidate must be highly organized, efficient and proficient in Excel and Outlook. Experience with 3PL is a plus.
